Simulations of pattern formation during annealing of edge dislocations in two dimensions with two antiparallel orientations of the Burgers vectors are shown to exhibit nontrivial power-law scaling, with exponents which are independent of the ratio of climb mobility to glide mobility ("universality"). These exponents differ from those previously observed in simulations with six possible orientations of the Burgers vectors. Nevertheless, a certain combination of the exponents, which represents the degree of slowing down of the dynamics caused by the presence of fine dislocation patterns, has the same value for the two-orientations and the six-orientations cases ("partial universality").
