A Study On Enhancement Of The Efficiency Of A Flat Plate Collector

In this communication, an attempt has been made to study the effect of area of the solar heat collecting surface, collector inclination angle, characteristics of the transparent sheets, and the average temperature of the heat transfer surface (nature of coatings) on the efficiency of a flat plate collector. Economical characteristics pertaining to design of the flat plate solar collectors have also been discussed.
