The runoff generation process is known to be highly nonlinear and complex. Under the present study, Snyder model, Nash model and Linear Geomorphological approach was used to derive the synthetic unit hydrograph for Rawat Sagar catchement for different rainfall duration. A comparison among these models for their predictability was under taken using the criteria of absolute average error, root mean square error and efficiency. The Geomorphologica! model has very high efficiency with lower root mean square error and absolute average error followed by. Snyder model and Nash model.
