摘要

The role of crystallographic parameters, particle size and morphology of the electroactive material, have a strong influence on the performance of fuel cells and batteries. In this paper, specific examples of electrode materials that have commercial significance will be presented. The results obtained for oxygen reduction on Pt particles and intercalation of Li~+-ions in negative electrodes (graphitized carbon, Li_4Ti_5O_(12)) for rechargeable Li batteries, are discussed.
