摘要

Nanometer-sized YPCV.Eu and YVO_4:Eu particles were prepared from alkaline alcohol-water mixture with Y(NO_3)_3 6H_2O, EuCl_3 and H_3PO_4 (or NH_4VO_4) under reflux. The resultant particles were well crystallized ranging 10-50 nm in diameter by changing reaction conditions. Europium ions in YPO_4:Eu and YVO_4:Eu was successfully reduced to Eu~(2+) ions by sodium borohydride under reflux. The peak position of blue emission due to Eu~(2+) ions (4f-5d transition) in nanocrystals was different among the materials (Y_2O_3, YVO_4 and YPO_4).
