The water repellent coating material has been developed. This material isrncomposed of low molecular weight polytetra-fluoroethylene particles andrnanatase type photocatalytic nano TiO2 particles, fluoro-oil, and binder. Thernpresence of these PTFE particles in the coating material makes it possible tornimprove the water repellent properties of this material to have a water contactrnangle of more than 150 degrees. The inclusion of TiOrnTiO2 particles into the waterrnrepellent coating inhibits surface contamination which deteriorates the waterrnrepellent property, by the photocatalytic reaction of TiOrnTiO2. This coating is beingrnapplied to the mobile phone microphone. The water repellency of the electretrncondenser microphone improves the durability of the mobile phone.
