The Demonstration of Electronic Systems to Assist in theManagement of a Significant Incident

This paper is a demonstration of the techniques developed during anrnAustralian Coal Association Research Program (ACARP) fundedrnresearch project aimed to develop aids, principally computer based, tornassist mine personnel to more efficiently manage significant incidents inrncoal mines. These aids include software to aid in the location of thernincident, electronic information storage and retrieval, online siternemergency response manuals and software to aid in decision-making.
