摘要

This paper deals with a new method of determining the static stiffness of machine tools called DDSS (dynamic determination of the static stiffness), basing on the equivalent displacement due to static forces with an amplitude of displacement caused by a slowly changing dynamic force. The fundamental advantage of this new method is the possibility to measure displacements by means of seismic sensors mounted on the body of the machine tool by means of magnets. Thus the necessity of constructing a reference system for the indicator of displacements can be eliminated, which is of particular importance in the case of investigating machine tolls with large overall dimensions. Comparison of static stiffness measured traditionally and with the new method is presented too.
