For CFRD constructed on deep alluvium foundation,the design of directly putting plinth on alluvium foundation and connecting foundation diaphram wall,plinth,concret face slab to form an integral seepage control system is a kind of safe and economic solution.In recent years,China has a-chieved remarkable technical progresses in building high CFRD on deep alluvium foundation and accumulated rich experiences.For CFRD with this structure,the key technologies include:the investigation of structure,composition and engineering properties of alluvium foundation,the seepage control measures of alluvium foundation,the connecting method between seepage control measure of foundation and dam.More attentions should be paid on the differental settlement between diaphragm wall and connecting slab.Besides,the length of connecting slab will also be optimized.
