摘要

A constitutive equation for superplasticity is analyzed for aluminum matrix composites with discontinuous reinforcements based on the results of the tensile tests, and the effects of the reinforcements on superplastic flow are investigated. The analysis suggests that the strongest strengthening process of the dislocation-pile up mechanism and the diffusional relaxation-limitation or dislocation by-pass mechanism affects the rate-controlling process.
