An appropriate methodology of parameters calculation of induction motor is very important for high performance speed control drive. Several paper were produced earlier neglecting the core loss resistance while calculating the parameter of Induction motor. In this study, a novel implementation technique is proposed to considering the core loss resistance non linearity. This paper proposes a general idea of finding the parameters of induction motor through no load and block rotor test giving due consideration to core loss resistance Rc . The paper also describes the problem of considering the assumptions made in earlier literature and attempt to propose a generalize view of three phase induction motor. For three phase induction motor, value of core loss resistance Rc is found iteratively to find out its actual operating point. Simulation results followed by experimental result confirm the validity of our proposed expressions.
