SDOF Model for Progressive Collapse Analysis

摘要

A concise methodology for evaluating the predisposition of a structure to progressiverncollapse is presented in this paper. A graphical modeling aid may be developed andrnused to investigate the potential for progressive collapse by evaluating the maximumrnductility and corresponding rotations of critical structural load-bearing elements.rnThus, a conventional dynamic computation with initial conditions can give anrnindication of the potential for progressive collapse of a structure.
