Times Square Tower – The design of a tall tower on a tiny footprint

The latest addition to Times Square, New York is the Times Square Tower officernbuilding. It stands on the one of the smallest sites in Times Square, a sliver of ground left between converging streets and subways. The Tower is surrounded by subways and sits atop a 19th century structure. The final form and structure are a direct derivation of the site and its many constraints.
