Event Notification Management Information Base

This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)for use with network management protocols in the Internet community.In particular, it defines a basic set of managed objects for SNMPbasedevent notification management of DOCSIS 1.1 compliant CableModems and Cable Modem Termination Systems. This MIB is defined as anextension to the DOCSIS Cable Device MIB, RFC 2669.This memo specifies a MIB module in a manner that is compliant to theSMIv2. The set of objects is consistent with the SNMP framework andexisting SNMP standards.CableLabs requires the implementation of this MIB (is this true?qualify)This memo is a product of the IPCDN working group within the InternetEngineering Task Force.
