Wideband digital power line carrier with packet switching for high voltage digital substations

摘要

Paper presents new sub-class of high voltage digital power line carrier - wideband power line carrier with packet switching. The main area of its application is communications for modern digital substations to increase data throughput of Ethernet/IP traffic for different services. Paper observes reason of new equipment development, presents system architecture and data of field tests. Conclusion provides directions for further research and discussions.
