This paper proposes an H-Bridge based Switched-Capacitor Boost 9-Level Inverter (HBSCB9LI) along with its cascaded version. The suggested HBSCB9LI structure is consisted of 1 input DC supply, 2 capacitors and 11 power-switches. The advantages of suggested HBSCB9LI structure are: (1) high number of levels per components, (2) self-voltage balancing, (3) voltage boosting ability, and (4) capability of feeding low or even zero power-factor loads. The suggested converter employs an H-bridge to create bipolar waveform. The introduction of suggested HBSCB9LI as well as its functional principles have been given in detail. The simulation outcomes have also been provided to certify the effectiveness of suggested circuit.
