It is not a new concept to use solar energy for natural ventilation. This paper studies the energy storage ventilation effect of solar roof ventilation system combined with phase change heat storage materials with different phase change temperatures through experiments, and also studies the daytime ventilation effect of unpowered fans. The solar energy device on the roof of the building is used to supply power to other systems such as ventilation and lighting. At the same time, it can automatically detect air quality and carry out intelligent ventilation. Through mathematical model, the influence of various factors on ventilation performance of ventilated roof is studied, and it is pointed out that the increase of chimney height and phase change temperature of heat storage material can enhance ventilation. Starting with solar energy technology to solve heating and ventilation, the residential buildings with large amount of construction and high energy consumption are taken as the research objects, which are representative and worth popularizing, and try to make a breakthrough in solar energy heat utilization.
