Applying Machine Learning to Data from a Structured Database in a Research Institute to Support Decision Making

摘要

The article deals with the problems of creating an information base for accumulating data on the scientific activities of employees in the research organization, to study these data as the basis of sciento-metrics indicators and to provide tools for making strategical decisions at research institutions. The study is based on Weka - open source machine learning environment that gives several mechanisms for finding consistent patterns in the data.
