The High-Pressure Technology (HPT) Committee of the ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping Division focuses on the design, analysis, research, development, and operation of pressure vessels, components and systems whose operating service pressures are generally in excess of 10,000 psi (70 MPa). Technical paper topics covered range from design, analysis, operation and maintenance of high-pressure components, high pressure-high temperature subsea components, fracture and fatigue control, vessels and piping subjected to highly dynamic loading conditions, such as detonations, deflagrations, and projectile impacts., and polyethylene component design. The depth and breadth of the High-Pressure Technology Track represents a wide knowledge-base and expertise spanning various engineering and technical disciplines. PVP-2019 has five separate Topics/Symposia associated with particular research areas, specifically: 1. (HPT-1) Design, Analysis and Life Prediction of High-Pressure Vessels and Equipment 2. (HPT-2) Structures Under Extreme Loading Conditions 3. (HPT-3) Fitness for Service and NDE of High Pressure Vessels and Piping 4. (HPT-4) Design and Analysis of High-Pressure Equipment for Industry 5. (HPT-6) Design and Analysis of High Pressure Equipment for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production
