In this paper, we analyze the performance of the ergodic capacity and outage capacity in the presence of random blockage under the generalized $eta-mu$ and $kappa-mu$ fading channels. Specifically, exact analytical expressions for the ergodic capacity and outage capacity in the presence of random blockage are derived. Based on the derived expressions, the influence of fading parameters and probability of blocking on the system performance is investigated. The analytical results are validated through Monte-Carlo simulations. The results show that the system performance improves when the fading parameters increase and (or) the probability of blockage decreases.
