Analysis of the mutual coupling effects between the base station antennas

The base station antenna, which is sharing the same location often have the coupling effects, and different erection methods bring different coupling effects to the neighbor base station antenna. In this paper, we use Matlab to model the base station antenna by MoM and analyze the radiation characteristics of the antenna under the coupling influence, calculate and compare the isolation degree of the adjacent base station antenna which using different placement modes. The results have some theoretical guidance for the erection method of the base station antenna.
