A Dual-band MIMO Antenna Array with High Isolation for 5G Application

This article proposes a new four-element dual-band MIMO antenna array for 5G applications. The four antenna elements are placed at four corners of the substrate. The antenna array operates in dual frequency bands of 3400-3600 MHz and 4800-5000 MHz, and port isolations are less than ?16 dB within the designed band. Moreover, the elements efficiencies are all above 50% and the envelope correlation coefficients (ECCs) are less than 0.03, which will meet the needs of future 5G applications.
