摘要

This paper presents a control strategy to improve Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) capability by integrating Series Dynamic Braking Resistor (SDBR) into the converter control algorithm. The required reactive power is controlled by employing Model Predictive Control (MPC) and incorporating the voltage and the current constraints to the control task to avoid losing active and reactive power control. A model of Wind Turbine (WT) equipped with Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is also presented in this paper. A numerical example is simulated in MATLAB to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
