Due to the continual rainfall and creep deformation occurring to the slope on left bank of the new river in the flood control projects in Liye west of Hunan, and a serious landslide was likely to occur to the slope. Based on the analysis of the mechanism of landslide and slope stability, and the stratum layer parameter inversion carried by the Least Square method, we finally decided to use pre-stressed cable and anchor for the treatment to the slope. The monitoring result indicated that this treatment plan is reliable and safe.
