Application of Automobile Insurance System Based on Markov Chain

Using transition probability matrix and limiting probability of Markov chain, we obtain the average annual premium paid by the policyholder of the Bonus Malus system, and prove that no claims is good and typically results in a decreased premium, while claims are bad and typically result in a higher premium.
