The Construction of a Venture Capital Project Evaluation Index System and the Screening of Indexes

A preliminary venture capital project evaluation index system that reflects both the expected returns and risks of projects is constructed by borrowing ideas from both domestic and overseas research findings in this field, and taking China's venture capital development situation and characteristics into consideration. A venture capital project evaluation index system is established after optimizing and screening qualitative and quantitative indexes included in the preliminary system, and deleting indexes that have a low correlation with the selection of venture capital projects using questionnaires and the correlation analysis approach, as well as a statistical analysis with the help of the SPSS software. The findings of this research will help stakeholders better understand venture capital projects, and provide support and guarantee for their investment decision-making.
