Construction Technology of a New-Style Pretensioned Spun Concrete Pile and Its Bend Resistant Property Test

According to the ordinary prestressed concrete pipe pile, there is a little bend resistant capability. So the cracks in pile often come into being during construction of pile foundation and foundation pit. A new-style pretensioned spun concrete pile and its construction technology are introduced. The new-style pile is improved upon the traditional one through adding several transverse plates of reinforced concrete in pile. And then the bend resistant property of the pipe pile with transverse reinforced concrete plates, ordinary pipe pile and the pipe pile with transverse fabric reinforcement were studied by comparison. The test results show that the ultimate bending moment of the pipe pile with transverse reinforced concrete plates is 28 percent greater than that of the ordinary one. So the new-style pipe pile’s stiffness and ductility are developed effectively.
