Meeting AMS 2750 Standard's Accuracy Requirements for Calibration

Metallurgy meets metrology, the heat treating industry has adopted good metrology practices for temperature measurement into the manufacturing environment. Metallurgical properties are critical for components in the aerospace (and related) industries – the highest quality requires repeatable time and temperature. AMS 2750 (Aerospace Material Specifications) mandates how temperature sensors are to be tested, including the use of appropriate calibration standards to ensure proper heat treating of aerospace components.
