Applying compiler-based binary watermarking technology to ensure binary compatibility in GNU/Linux distribution

摘要

This document describes application of binary watermarking technology to ELF files to whole GNU/Linux distribution, including implementation of watermarking tools based on C/C++ toolchain. The purpose of watermarking is to provide fast and easy method of ensuring application compatibility with system-wide API libraries.
