Lystek International Limited (Lystek) is a biosolids solution management company that utilizes a patented technology to treat biosolids into multiple end-products for recycling and beneficial use. Lystek is a low-temperature hydrolysis process involving high-speed shearing, alkali, and low-pressure, low-temperature steam injection. The Lystek technology is able to process digested and undigested materials (including organic matter) and produces a multi-purpose, hydrolyzed product (15% solids) for: 1 Use as a Class A EQ (Exceptional Quality) liquid biofertilizer product (LysteGro?) that is high in organic concentration (approximately 15% solids) 2 Re-circulating back into anaerobic digesters as a post-anaerobic digestion , post-dewatering solution to reduce volatile solids (and as a result biosolids volume reductions) and improve gas yields (LysteMize?). 3 Re-circulation into biological nutrient removal (BNR) systems as a post anaerobic digestion, post-dewatering solution as a safe, cost-effective, alternative carbon source, replacing methanol, glycerol or other more expensive options (LysteCarb?).
