Lumbar Posture Correction by Vibratory / Auditory Stimulation

The population aging rate is increasing, and the birth rate is decreasing around the world. This means that the requests of nursing care from elderly people will increase, however, it is expected that enough nursing care will not be provided in the near future. So, various welfare devices that work in place of a nursing staff have been proposed and developed. On the other hand, in the authors’ past researches, devices that trains a patient who participates in rehabilitation have been proposed in place of a staff that supports the patient. In this paper, a device that trains a nursing staff about his/her own lumbar posture was developed. By using this device, it is expected that a nursing staff can acquire a proper lumbar posture. Several experiments were conducted, and the effectiveness was confirmed.
