In this study, a pair of quasi-triangle patch antenna is designed with defected ground structure (DGS) to suppress coupling effect between adjacent antennas. One side of each patch is quadratic function curve instead of straight line to enlarge the space. Based on the current distribution on the ground, a long arrow-tail shaped slot and four groups of short slots are etched. The length, position and angle of slots are adjusted for more mitigating the mutual coupling. More than 40 dB isolation between two patches at resonance frequency of 5 GHz can be obtained, which proves the stable radiation pattern of each antenna.
