The paper reviewed problems of hardware protection of computational algorithm by dividing it on local computer network. In practice, when organizing the protection of a computing device, specialists or ordinary users turn, first of all, to information security software (such as antivirus, firewall, access control tools, and others), which, as a rule, are some a software package that protects computers from software and the operating system vulnerabilities, malicious programs and other types of implementation of similar errors. In most cases, this method of protection against external encroachments on the user's information resources may be sufficient, and the user himself becomes confident that his information is not available to third parties. The use of only software-based information security systems is due to the great popularity of malware in the world of cybercriminals, which is designed to exploit all kinds of software errors and loopholes, while realizing its illegal goals. The development of such programs and applications is, in general, a non-trivial task for a specialist, but, in some cases, superficial knowledge in this area is enough to create, for example, a simple virus program that can cause irreparable damage to information resources of third parties.
