摘要

The goal of this study is to develop an optimal treatment process and acclimation strategy to maximize carbon recovery from biofuel wastewater using AnMBR. To overcome the initial toxicity of the biofuel wastewater, biodegradable feed was added and the biofuel wastewater portion was increased gradually for slow acclimation for a year. After acclimation, the allowable biofuel content in the feed was increased and 80% of carbon in the wastewater could be recovered as methane gas.
