Employing the cylindrical geometry of classical optical systems combined with complex microfabricated electrode configurations, three dimensional all-fluidic components are fabricated inside a tube and combined to yield multi-component optical systems. Tunable lenses; tiltable and rotatable prisms; aberration-tunable lenses; variable apertures; and a complete multi-lens zoom system are demonstrated.
