With the rapid development of the smart substation, switches account for a high proportion of the secondary equipment. Problems and difficulties in the traditional patrol inspection and regular maintenance are gradually emerging, which brings hidden dangers such as periodic maintenance, mechanical maintenance, over maintenance, early maintenance, delayed maintenance and blind maintenance Therefore, in this paper, a method based on process layer smart switch modeling technology is proposed, which obtains on-line monitoring data of the smart switch. The data collected are analyzed synthetically by combining measurement condition maintenance judgment model, traceability comparison model and homology comparison model. The online evaluation of the operation status of process layer smart switch is realized, and furthermore some suggestions are given.
