For the fiber bundle of multi-axial warp knitted fabric, only one type of reinforcement fiber among Glass, Carbon, Aramid and so on has been selected. Mechanical properties and cost of multi-axial warp knitted fabric composite depend on feature of the fiber bundle. In order to extend the applicability of composite, concept of "fiber hybrid composite" was applied into the multi-axial warp knitted fabric composite. In this study, two kinds of fiber bundle, Carbon and Glass, were used in 0/90 multi-axial warp knitted fabric. Two types of hybrid composite were investigated; inter-layer hybrid composite in which each layer was fabricated by different fiber bundle and intra-layer hybrid composite in which different fiber bundle was used in one layer. The mechanical properties of composites were investigated by using tensile test and the potency of intra-layer fiber hybrid composite was confirmed.
