A Study on the Hot Issue Markets of IPO in China's Stock Market

Hot issue market has been tested and explained by many countries' share markets, but researchers have more interest in underpricing and underperformance of IPO than in hot issue market. Using a correlation analysis, this paper takes empirical research during periods of one month and six months respectively, choosing nearly all data from new issuing firms in Shenzhen and Shanghai Stock Markets and tests the phenomenon of hot issue markets, This study shows that The phenomenon of is not clear in China. We explain the special reasons in China's stock market that have led to unclear hot issue market.
