Review on the Development of Geological Survey in Industry in Hubei Province

The China's first economic census was carried out in 2005. The economic census plays an important role in knowing economic scale, structure and benefit of the second and third industry in China. This paper discusses the status quo of geological survey industries in Hubei Province based on information of the first economic census. The DEA method is used to evaluate the relative efficiency of the geological survey industry, and influence factors are found by Tobit model. Finally, several suggestions are given to improve the geological survey industries in Hubei Province.
