A Model of Information Integration between E-business Enterprises and Logistics Enterprises Based On RosettaNet

E-commerce has brought new challenges as well as opportunities to the logistics enterprises. In the traditional information exchange process between e-business enterprises and logistics enterprises, manual ways such as fax, phone and e-mail are used. Then, the demand information is manually inputted into logistics enterprises’own ERP system. This kind of non-system information exchange is not only time-consuming, labor-consuming, but also can not guarantee the integrity and accuracy of information. In this paper, we present a solution for information integration between e-business enterprises and logistics enterprises based on RosettaNet. It achieves information exchange smoothly in different company system by making standard of information form and process based on RosettaNet. It also facilitates complete and efficient data transmission,and minimizes unnecessary labor cost. We provide an implementation model for the information integration of an e-business enterprise and a logistics enterprise.
