Shape Optimisation in CAE

摘要

Design methodologies such as Multidisciplinary Design Optimisation and Robust Design often involve variation of object''s shape and assessment of the resulting performance. This paper presents methodology to incorporate shape variability in the optimisation process. Results of the shape optimisation of the gas-turbine disc of the aircraft engine show higher levels of product quality and reliability achieved.
