摘要

Evaporation in a microchannel with rectangular cross section has been studied. The extent of evaporation was evaluated by application of thin film evaporation formulations. The microflow along the micro groove was also considered and included in the model to determine the liquid level along the groove. It is shown that the change in meniscus radius is almost negligible and it is possible to increase the wetted length by deepening the rectangular groove.
