One of the principle objectives of the DOE CASL Reactor Simulation Hub is to couple state-of-the-art neutronics and thermal-hydraulics (T-H) codes for reactor safety analysis that can be implemented on both today's leadership class computers as well as on the high end platforms currently available within the industry. In the work reported here, the MPACT computer code which has been developed within CASL to perform pin-resolved transport calculations is coupled to the sub-channel thermal-hydraulics code COBRA-TF. The coupling was performed using the CASL standard data transfer software package, Data Transfer Kit (DTK) within the LIME framework of the CASL infrastructure code for multi-physics simulations. The application reported in this paper is a coupled thermal-hydraulics, neutronics simulation of a 3-D fuel assembly at hot, full power conditions.
