New process for rapid manufacturing of metal parts by green machining is developed. The green blank is prepared by mixing metal powder with a water-based binder. The strength of dried green blank is adequate to perform machining operations on a basic milling machine. This paper describes the details of binder, mixes, green machining and entire methodology for prototype production of metallic parts.
