Unmanned operation under two dispatching centers - practice of GPSPS automation system

摘要

The plant automation system is the nerve center of Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station. It manages nearly all the resources of the plant, and directly affects the efficiency, reliability and safety of the plant operation. Meanwhile, advanced automation system is the pre-condition to realize the regime of unmanned operation of the plant. The design philosophy of GPSPS Phase I automation system tries to meet the operation and management requirement of a modem hydro power station. After more than three years in operation, GPSPS Phase I demonstrates that it is a successful and colorful system of elaborate design and state-of-the-art technology.
