Design of the diversion tunnels in Ertan Hydroelectric Power Project

摘要

The diversion tunnels are safely and regularly operated more than 31 months since successful river closure on Nov. 26, 1993. It is a comprehensive check and test for the layout of the tunnels axis, discharge capacity, flow diverted during river closure period, conditions of log-passing, type of support of the surrounding rock and others of the design from that operation. It not only demonstrate the reasonableness and Tightness of the philosophy, method and result of the design, but also indicate the design and construction for large hydro-tunnels in China come up to advanced world level.
