After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of existed cooperative proxy caching system, a new distributed and cooperative web proxy caching system is proposed in this paper. It organizes a set of distributed caching proxy servers to form a caching system. By redirecting, it can forward requests to the very proxy, which caches the objects requested from non-hit proxy. Not only local requests but also the cooperation of neighbor proxy caches is thought over. Therefore, the redundant duplicates among proxies are greatly reduced and efficient use of the storage of the proxy cache is increased. Consequently, the hit rate will increase and the load of Web servers is relieved. After analyzed in theory, it is proved that the delay of access time will greatly reduce. It is also proved that hit-rate is higher than ICP and CRISP in our experiment.
