OCT-MD technology newly developed by FRIPP, SINOPEC can deep remove sulfur of FCC gasoline for production of ultra-clean gasoline with low octane number loss. First commercial application of OCT-MD technology for production of ultra-clean gasoline with sulfur content less 50ppm has carried out in Shijiazhuang refinery of Sinopec in July, 2007. The results show that FCCN with sulfur contents of 600~761ppm were treated by OCT-MD to products with sulfur contents of 28~48ppm, research octane number (RON) loss of 0.7~1.4.
