The hydrodynamic performance of slotted double wave screens, formed by equally spaced circularrnwave intercepting elements, has been investigated through an experimental program. The reflection, rntransmission characteristics and wave oscillation in the chamber are studied. The dynamic pressurernvariations on the leeward side wave screen are also studied. The effects of the screen porosity andrnspacing between screens on the transmission coefficient and the dynamic pressures exerted on thernleeward side screen elements have been reported as a function of relative dissipating chamber width.rnThe details of models, instrumentation, analysis of the data and the results are presented andrndiscussed in this paper.
