Studies on production process of polyurethane emulsion

摘要

Recently much attention has been paid to emulsifier free polyurethane emulsion (PU-EM) because of it's high performance, safety and environmental protection. The basic technology was developed in the 1960's. but there was no fundamental study about this process. We are studying this process to understand the basic fundamentals of PU-EM. and trying to apply this for optimal process design and to find out the best reaction conditions. We are also studying Polyurethane/Acrylic complex emulsion (PUA-EM) to keep a good balance between cost and performance.
